Doula Services

Studies have shown that doula-assisted mothers were four times less likely to have a low birth weight (LBW) baby, two times less likely to experience a birth complication involving themselves or their baby, and significantly more likely to initiate breastfeeding.

I provide my clients with 2 prenatal visits where we take time to understand

  • The needs of the mother

  • Formulating a birth plan together 

  • Packing the hospital bag together 

  • Assessing birth roles for all birth support persons

I attend the labor and birth of the expecting mother from start to finish and stay for a couple of hours after to help the new mother get settled.

Expecting families get a student workbook which is theirs to keep. It consists of a lot of useful reading information and engaging activities for both parents. There are spaces in the book to write down your thoughts and take notes.

Texting support is available all days of the week and on-call support starts at 38 weeks.  

This is a list of cherry-picked birth workers that the expecting mother might need from pregnancy to postpartum. This list has been curated over the years through high ratings and personal experience.  

In-person prenatal Visits

2 in-person prenatal visits are provided to the expecting mother. 

Book Recommendations

A person who doesn't read has nothing over a person that reads. 

Books contain a wealth of knowledge and I have a list of recommended books for expecting parents to gain insightful information.
